About CACMP

One Sound. One People.
One God.

The Chicago African Mega Praise Concert (CACMP) is more than music — it’s a movement.
A call to unite the African diaspora in Chicago and beyond through powerful, Spirit-led praise.

Who We Are
CACMP is an annual, free worship concert.
Our Focus:

African-style praise that glorifies Jesus and brings communities together. Whether you’re from Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, Congo, or anywhere else — this is your sound, your moment, your stage to lift Jesus high.

Our Vision
To bring Africans together in joyful unity, lifting one voice to God — right in the heart of Chicago.
Our Mission

Ignite praise that transcends culture, tribe, and denomination
Celebrate African worship through music, dance, and testimonies
Strengthen spiritual identity and belonging in the diaspora
Raise a sound of hope that echoes across generations

Our Belief
Worship unites where words fall short
Praise breaks barriers
God deserves our culture, our sound, our dance, our all
Why It Matters
Many Africans in the diaspora feel isolated — culturally, spiritually, or socially.
CACMP bridges that gap with worship, joy, and fellowship rooted in who we are and whose we are.
This is not just a concert.
It’s a community.
It’s a revival.
It’s a legacy in the making.
